On April 25th, National Geographic launched their first scripted television show, Genius. In an effort to amass buzz and create conversation, we focused on the man behind the genius - Albert Einstein - with a goal to drive tune-in for the premiere. As fate would have it, the March of Sciences in Washington DC was set to take place three days prior to the premiere. We kicked off the conversation right then and there. Equipped with a WiFI hot spot and electricity - we helped marchers support a movement and engage with the show. To further engagement and continue the conversation, we launched a chatbot on Facebook messenger. This virtual Einstein gave users a behind the scenes look into his life - and maybe even a sneak peak into future episodes.
